Whether your challenges are coping with depression, anxiety/stress, life transitions, addiction issues, or relationship stress. My focus is about helping you find the authenticity and contentment you seek by providing support to help you create meaningful change.
With over 25 years’ experience providing mental health therapy I have created a style/art of therapy that incorporates many different skills and strategies. In partnership we will take a deep dive into what concerns you. I will walk with you to both guide and coach you towards to changes you deserve. You never know what you may learn about yourself, discover new strengths, learn to embrace change by empowering your self-confidence in your ability to cope, increasing your authenticity.
My clients have described my style as warm, honest and direct. My counseling style in session includes a blend of both traditional talk-therapy and coaching. Additionally, I have found that holding space to laugh and smile can help with unpacking the hard stuff.

In the beginning we start with your present challenges. As we progress in sessions, we can then unpack parts of your past, both bad and good. These experiences have contributed to who you are now and can open doors to self-discovery and feeling understood, increasing authenticity. It’s helpful to explore what has worked and hasn’t worked to uncover patterns that may present as roadblocks to your personal growth. While unpacking the past we don’t stay there because we are also working to energize your present, all with the focus to lead you to the better days.
Strategies that my clients have benefitted from include Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, self-compassion among many others. The power of change can be impacted by our therapeutic relationship: meaning support, coaching, teaching, and exploring choices you can make. Therapy is not meant to be passive it is meant to focus on your goals and personal growth, but at your pace and always with your feedback. There is no one true path to feeling better.​​​
